Police Training Instructor
The position of Police Training Instructor would involve
delivering the specialized skills program in your specific area of police
expertise, based on the program syllabus; ensuring that the course content
is delivered in an effective manner involving the young people whilst
motivating them to learn. You would adopt effective review techniques
to enhance the learning experience for the students of the program. You
would also be required to use discretion in training and coaching of life
skills using the mediums of experiential learning and behavioural modelling,
rather than pure classroom style teaching, to achieve the syllabus objectives.
You would hold a minimum of five years relevant experience in an Instructor
role with young people; experience and/ or practical skills in sports
and outdoor activities and a proven passion for learning, youth development
and motivational abilities. You will be an enthusiastic and energetic
candidate with proven ability as a leader.
Required
Qualifications
A diploma/ advanced diploma in learning and development;
Professional certifications in learning and development (e.g. CIPD training
certificate); or
At least 7 years of professional experience in a similar role to substitute
formal education.
A recognised uniform services training instructor qualification (e.g.
methods of instructional techniques, defence instructional techniques
courses)
Current UK and UAE drivers license preferable;
First Aid (currency of at least 2 years);
Clearance of Criminal Record Bureau.
